Rainwater Tanks

Water and knowledge. Believe it or not, the two go hand in hand. If children don't have easy
access to clean water for drinking and washing at their school, then they simply can't go to school. They have to spend their days in search of water, instead of learning and growing. Additionally, if children are drinking dirty water, then they get sick, which also keeps them out of school and sometimes even leads to death. And that's just wrong.
 
Eaglecom Foundation partnered with Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) in 2010 to fund the construction of Rainwater Harvesting Tanks at three schools in Northern Ghana. And now, almost 2,000 children have fresh, clean water for drinking and washing every day, which means they can learn! Teachers and family members in the community will also have access to the water, so that even more people can be helped.
 
We are proud to participate in this life-changing project, and excited to see the impact it is already having on thousands of children's lives.
